Disney Magic Kingdom Coco Walkthrough: A Glimpse into the Future

At this year's D23 Expo, Walt Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D'Amaro took to the stage to share a sneak peek of concept art for future developments in the Disney parks. Among the many exciting announcements was news of an upcoming expansion at Magic Kingdom, which is set to bring three beloved franchises - Coco, Encanto, and Villains - together in one thrilling area.

The 'A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences and Products' presentation revealed that a new land or areas are currently under development beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland. Imagineer Chris Beatty and Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios Jennifer Lee took to the stage to share some early concept art, describing it as an 'early concept exploration' and one of the 'potential expansion opportunities.'

While few details were shared during the presentation, fans are eagerly anticipating more information about this exciting new addition to Magic Kingdom. With Coco, Encanto, and Villains all set to come together in one area, it's clear that Disney is dedicated to bringing even more magic to its beloved theme park.
